Enhanced Educational Reimbursement Benefits

Bellevue University knows that many working adults are interested in continuing education. But for many, financing college tuition is a hurdle. That's why Kiewit and Bellevue University have partnered to create a new Educational Reimbursement Program that includes:

  • Up to $5,250 per year for employees
  • Up to $2,500 per year for your immediate family members

When combined with the Kiewit Tuition Reimbursement Program, full-time staff members may be eligible for up to $10,500 per year. Contact your Human Resources business partner for details about the Kiewit program and to ensure your course of study has been pre-approved.

NOTE: These generous tuition assistance amounts are available annually*, which means each year you are enrolled at Bellevue University, you can qualify for up to these amounts. In order to make your funding go further, the amount of tuition assistance you can access each academic term is limited.

* There are lifetime limits on the Educational Reimbursement Program.

A Leader in Adult Learning, Bellevue University Offers These Additional Benefits

Bellevue University is a leader in serving adult learners. We understand the needs and priorities that adults have when going back to school. And we add many benefits to this program, including:

  • Payment Deferment
Upon approval, Bellevue University will defer payment due dates of tuition and fees for 45 days from the end of class/session.
  • Save Money by Transferring Credits Without Charge
If you've already taken some college classes, you shouldn't have to repeat them. Bellevue University knows how to evaluate credits you already have so you can transfer them into your degree program. And we don't charge Kiewit employees a transfer fee!

The best way to find out how many credits you already have that can transfer into your degree is to talk to a Bellevue University Enrollment Counselor. Your Enrollment Counselor can also suggest other ways of earning college credit for work you've already done.
  • Other Types of Financial Aid
    • Federal Financial Aid
Bellevue University participates in all major federal and state grant and loan programs to help you pay for your direct education costs, such as tuition, books, and supplies. To apply for federal financial aid, complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online, annually. The Bellevue University school code is 002538. If you are using this tuition assistance program to pursue a bachelor's degree, you must fill out a FAFSA and complete the financial aid process.
Please note: Non-U.S. students are not eligible for U.S. federal financial aid and are not required to complete a FAFSA.
    • Veterans Education Benefits
Bellevue University welcomes Education benefits and has VA-approved experts who will work with you to access and use the education funding you're entitled to.

Bellevue University makes sure you have access to all available financing options. In order to ensure that you have funding to cover your entire degree program, there are limits on the amount of grant funds you can access each academic term.
